Spanning six centuries of historic design themes, many of the original glass silhouettes that inspire Juliska creations can be found in museums around the world. Juliska glassware is lead-free and mouth-blown by artisans in the hills outside Prague. The unique composition of Juliska glass allows it to be blown especially thin, making the glass an unexpected pleasure to drink from and to handle. Being handmade, no two pieces of Juliska are identical. Each has it’s own unique character - small bubbles, slight color and size variations. Uniqueness is thus guaranteed. Each piece of Juliska glass is individually signed, as a guarantee of its authenticity and quality. Juliska ceramics echo the same rich depth of artisnal production as Juliska glassware. This Portuguese stoneware ensures everyday practicality as pieces can go straight from the freezer into the oven (up to 500 degrees). This vitrified ceramic is also guaranteed for microwave and dishwasher use, and is highly resistant to chipping and breaking.
